5 Daily habits to Hardwire Your Brain For Increased Productivity

Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.” — Paul J. Meyer

Let’s take a deep dive into this word “productivity.”

Being productive means actively working towards achieving your goals by committing to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort. It requires taking intentional steps to manage your time, energy, and resources effectively to maximize output and achieve desired results.

Why do so many entrepreneurs, writers, designers and athletes focused on building habits to boost their productive output? What’s the obsession with productivity?

Do we need to spend hours working on projects every day to say that we’re productive? I think not!

You can spend two hours working on one meaningful project per day and that’s more worthwhile than spending seven hours jumping from task to task without making significant impact.

One of my favorite books about productivity is “Eat that Frog” by Brian Tracy and in the book. In the book, Tracy highlights the importance of picking the most impactful task and focusing on that instead of spending hours tackling small, meaningless tasks.

If you want to be productive every day, pick your scariest task and focus on that task for two hours each day.

Use a time management system such as the Pomodoro Technique to stay focused.
