My Online Presence

When it comes to my online presence I like to think I have a strong one and one that is following the same themes. I like to let everyone know on all my platforms that I am a designer/creative and all my social media shows that. On top of my social media, I have my own website with good metadata to ensure I come up in search results.

It definitely helps that I have such a unique name, but here is what comes up when you search for my name,

So at the top is my website (portfolio) and below is my Behance and medium. The second Behance is an old one I had when I was 14!? I have since deleted that account and hopefully once that gets removed it will be top 3 links. I am currently also working on making my website more professional in search results by improving the back end.

The reason my website comes up first is that it is linked in all of my social media profiles, this helps with searchability as the internet searches for mentions of it in order to justify the top result. In all my social media I also say I am a creative/designer so all search engines know it is me and this greatly helps.

I am fairly active on Instagram and Twitter and upload new projects on my portfolio every couple of months so people don't get bored or think I have stopped creating. All of these things into one makes sure I have an active online presence and people know who is behind all of these profiles. I hope to be posting my FMP on these social networks in order to gain eyes of potential employers.
