Insights for the Tenderpreneur

A word cloud was used to understand the common and recurring keywords in the title of the tenders. From this we can categorize the tenders and aggregate the amounts for these tenders. An immediate key observation is that the website is not a comprehensive view of all the tenders the government has issued. There are a few government entities yet to disclose all their tenders. A data clean up is also required as some of the data is questionable. e.g some tenders were awarded prior to independence. Lastly some outliers had to be eliminated as they skewed the data significantly.

Hopefully, as the Government spends, they will look towards more long term and impactful projects that drive development and growth of the nation.
