Crawling out of a depression

Depression is a mental illness that is described as the persistent feeling of overwhelming sadness.

Those who suffer from depression or have suffered know for a fact that it feels almost impossible to get better. Many people never recover and just get worse as time goes on. I along with many others struggle to crawl out of my depression because even coping with it feels so hard.

Everyone with depression has a different story. It may be on how they recovered or how they fell into it, but it’s unique and has great importance to that person. So what’s your story?

Depression can feel like an ongoing cycle of misery that can you never escape or feel lost in. It’s a strong pain that you don't feel in your body but a pain you feel in your emotions. That pain can be immense, easily stopping you from doing your everyday responsibilities and tasks, or even…
