Why Death Is An Old Friend.

I think the world failed a lot of people. It’s not human nature or the instincts to survive, it’s to make the world go round. And with that, they say it’s good enough to take things from people, people who don’t have much in the beginning.

Memento mori, an ancient latin phrase used from ancient times of Greece. A quote that would remind a person, a king from a slave, a servant, that death is always there. To not forget that they, the king, will die. That it is inevitable.

If the world was as before, much of us would be dead before our 10th birthday and I wouldn’t have minded it, saving me trouble of the pain of the world-to-be. Or supposedly. While none of it is as fair as those who want it to be, we all at one point or another will have a failure.

It is death that, despite what people will try to aspire to be beating, can’t fade the truth that all who live, will face. What a sobering thought. But it’s a thought that everyone think and talk about until the thought is permanent, for to think death is inevitable is unrealistic of itself for many.

But be it the emperor or the slave that meets death first, I promise that death is always be behind every person.

I, however, have too many stories to tell. Too many to throw to the side. Too many to give in to the satisfaction of memento mori, for it can wait until death truly comes to knock on my door.

If anything, I just want to keep going, even when the nights are too high for me to reach, my bones become more weary every day. So why not keep going? For people, who say or talk about work, I can…
