When Ready

When ready if ready we do what we are ready for. If unready we are surprised often by our unreadiness and unsteady realize too late that what we have readied for is unsuccess.
Our lack of success is a foretold proposition as we did not ready ourselves for success. This is obvious though not until after the fact. Events conspire to reveal the truth(?) of our readiness.
If our survival was dependent on our ability to plan ahead| in other words| be ready what we are readying ourselves for is extinction.

I am ready for that.
It is personal, global too.

So many others are facing extinction without recourse to being ready.
What frog can ready itself for fungus, where can Bangladeshis go to escape sea level rise?, is a child in Florida or Louisiana able to be ready for pythons, crocodiles, ‘gators, e. coli, or malaria?
Perhaps, but dependent on people (parental) who also need to be ready.

Can we accept the inevitability of not being, of unready for something something not thought of foreseen perhaps something that could happen but hasn’t happened before?
We have survived without being ready, precarious but survived.

ㅤ ㅤhurricane?|check
ㅤ ㅤpollution?| oh yeah,
ㅤ ㅤwar?| sort of and not, yet not coming no way to be ready ~ nuclear is annihilation and no point to be ready for that despite the 4 year dry food supply in the shelter. Not interested in living after that, not ready to have no one to talk to.

Continually ready to converse anyone almost anywhere (toilet stalls excluded).

ㅤ ㅤMore important ready to listen.

We work hard to be ready with ears, mind heart, to listen.

We are ready to fail at this — it is the attempt to be ready, the idea of readiness to be open and ready at all, that goal that path forward the paradox of always ready yet never ready for whatever comes next.
What comes next is always until there is no more next. Once in that place at the end of next and no longer needing to be ready as you already are.
An unavoidable moment in readiness.
