Partnership announcement The Sandbox ft. Neon District

We are excited to announce our partnership with Neon District, the hybrid role-playing and trading card game.

From the US-based studio Blockade, Neon District is an upcoming RPG game built with Unity. It combines elements of online MMOs and RPGs. The asset-collecting game is set in a futuristic cyberpunk dystopia where players can control a party of characters and battle to clear missions and earn in-game NFTs.

As the game goes on and the story unfolds, players get to collect an arsenal of items, all of which are NFTs backed by blockchain, while exploring the world of Neon District.

Blockade successfully promoted the early access launch to Neon District: Season One. Neon District: Season Two is scheduled for release by the end of 2020 and we are excited to see what the future holds!

To further drive the mainstream adoption of blockchain gaming and enable interoperability, Blockade is teaming up with The Sandbox.

With this partnership Neon District has come to The Sandbox and claimed stake of our metaverse in Round 2 of The Sandbox’s LAND presale.

On this piece of The Sandbox metaverse, users will have the opportunity to experience a Neon District-inspired game where the community could meet up and share original adventures.
